Terms & Conditions for Hiring

These terms and conditions are a legal agreement between you and Loop Hires. By hiring with Loop Hires, you are agreeing to follow all the terms and conditions as stated.

Please only place a garment hire order if you are based in Australia.

Rental orders received from outside Australia cannot be fulfilled and will not be refunded. International customers are welcome to purchase from our resale brand intheloopvault.com

RETURNS

All postal hires must be posted back on the last day of your hire period. If your event falls on a weekend or public holiday, the hired garment must be posted back the following Monday before 2pm, or 12pm in rural areas. Please only post the garment back OVER THE COUNTER at an Australia Post outlet (in the provided express satchel) and retain a copy of the lodgement receipt.

Do not post the garment back via a street post box. You will be liable if the garment's return is delayed or lost due to this.

If dropping off your return in person, please pop your hired item into the return box at our Toowong Brisbane location on/before the last day of your hire period by 7pm (Please see instructions included with your rental). Let us know if a later drop-off is required.

If you fail to return a bag/garment by the pre-agreed date, we reserve the right to charge you late fees of $20 per day delayed until the bag/garment is returned in accordance.

Failure to return the item altogether will be considered theft and you hereby authorise Loop Hires/LoopVault to charge your payment method 100% of the Replacement Cost/RRP or 150% of the Replacement Cost if the garment/bag is no longer available for replacement. This covers the loss of the item plus the expected loss of revenue from further rentals of that product.

Loop Hires reserves the right to charge your payment method for non-compliance of the terms and conditions under which you rent our products.

If damages/late fees are not paid within 7 days of being requested by Loop Hires, the matter will be taken up with a debt collecting agency and you will be liable for any additional charges and fees incurred.

CARE OF RENTAL GARMENTS

Please treat all items with utmost care, as if they were your own. If an item is returned damaged, the customer/hirer is required to pay for the cost of repair, or the full replacement cost (that is the Recommended Retail Price of the garment - RRP) in the event that the garment is damaged beyond repair.

Please do not attempt to clean/wash or iron the garment yourself as this could result in major damages in the case of delicate materials. Simply return your item as is and let us take care of all the cleaning for you.

Do note that you are hiring from a dress hire business where although our items are in good, worn condition, garments would have been worn more than once and some small general wear and tear or repairs may be present. We strive to ensure quality, however as expected, garments will not always be in a 100% brand new condition. Minor defects do not qualify for a refund unless otherwise decided by us.

In the unlikely event that you receive a badly damaged item from us, please contact us immediately and send a timestamped photograph of the noticeable damage. If you fail to let us know within 2 hours of local pick up or the same day your postal order is received, you lose the right to dispute this matter. We will work out the next steps and decide if it qualifies for a partial or full refund.

LATE ORDERS/SIZING ISSUES

For customers based outside of Brisbane and needing hires express posted to you, please ensure orders are placed by Tuesday 2pm (For weekend hires) or at least 4 business days before your event to allow ample time for your item to arrive.

We will not be liable for late deliveries that were placed outside of this timeframe and no refunds will be issued.

If your rental garment does not fit as desired, please reach out to us as soon as possible at hello@intheloopvault.com. Post your hire back within 24 hours of delivery and a single-use credit note (minus postage costs and a $30 cancellation fee) will be issued to you once we receive the hire back in its original, unworn condition.

POSTAGE

If the prepaid post bag provided is lost by you, you are responsible for returning the item at your own expense by the pre-agreed return date. The alternative return must be using EXPRESS Australia Post courier service only. You must immediately notify us with an updated tracking number.

Once the item has arrived to you, you hold the responsibility to these items. When providing a shipping address, you confirm that this address is your physical address and you hold yourself accountable for the items when delivered. If you provide us an address where you do not physically reside, Loop Hires shall take no responsibility for non-delivery or any liability of what happens to the product after delivery.

CUSTOMER CANCELLATIONS

Please note that Loop Hires does not offer refunds for cancelled orders. You may cancel your rental order under certain conditions outlined below:


i. Cancellation requests received fourteen (14) or more days prior to your booking start date will not incur cancellation fees. You will be entitled to receive a credit note* for the full amount paid, including postage (if applicable).


ii. For cancellation requests received less than fourteen (14) days before your booking start date, a small cancellation fee of $30 will apply. You will still be eligible for a credit note* for the remaining amount.


iii. Unfortunately, cancellation requests received seven (7) or fewer days prior to your booking start date will not be eligible for a credit note or refund.

*Credit notes due to cancellations are valid for 6 months and will expire if not utilised within that period. Once the credit note is used to make a new hire booking with Loop Hires, the transaction is final and cannot be changed or cancelled for another credit note. 

Our credit notes can be applied towards renting or purchasing any items available on Loop Hires.

CANCELLATIONS BY LOOP HIRES

Loop Hires reserves the right to cancel your booking for any of the following reasons. In such cases, your compensation will be limited to the amount you originally paid for the booking. Please note that Loop Hires will not be held accountable for any subsequent damages resulting from the cancellation.

Possible reasons for Loop Hires to cancel your booking include, but are not restricted to:

  • The item being damaged by a customer who rented it before you.
  • The item being lost or stolen by a customer who rented it before you.
  • It is determined that delivering the item to you within the scheduled timeframe is not feasible, whether due to a customer's late return or other factors, such as unforeseen delays in the postal network.

In all of the above situations, you will be eligible for a full refund back to your original payment method.

Loop Hires reserves the right to alter these Terms & Conditions at our own discretion or terminate your right to rent garments from us should you breach this agreement/for any other reason.

Terms & Conditions for Resale

In order to meet the current demand and given the nature of sourcing inventory, all sales are final. Please be sure to review all pictures and ask any questions prior to making a purchase. Please consider your purchase thoroughly before proceeding with check out as we do not offer order cancellations.
